Club Captain I want to congratulate our Division 2 Wednesday senior team who came first in their league yesterday and secured the ILBA perpetual trophy.

It is not an easy task to win a league – especially one that has an 18 match schedule but this team secured and remained in one of the top positions for the whole season against some strong opposition.

This is the 3rd successive year that Westmanstown have won the ILBA trophy so huge congratulations to everyone on the squad who contributed in any way to this wonderful result. Take a bow everyone for a job well done.
