The Club
Founded in 1995 Westmanstown Bowling Club is part of the Dublin Metropolitan Garda Recreation Club and has gone from strength to strength and now has approximate 130 members, evenly split between men & ladies.

The club members enjoy the use of the Westmanstown Conference Centre facilities including the restaurant, bars, meeting rooms and discount on room hire for functions.
Members can decide to just enjoy social bowling or also opt into playing competitions, within the club and against other clubs.

During the outdoor season (April to September) the club takes part in the BLI and LBLI leagues.
There is also a thriving club competition programme with 12 competitions (single, pairs and mixed) geared to different abilities for both male and female members.

Fun rinks are organised on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday mornings where the emphasis is totally on enjoyment & craic.

In the winter season (September to March) three teams take part in the Outdoor Winter League which is held on Saturday mornings.

Social Activities
A bowling holiday is arranged to Westport each November and overseas trips have also been arranged.

Various other activities such as BBQs, Quiz Nights, Music Nights etc are organised during the year.
