L.B.L.I. Finals

The ladies were center stage this week in Crumlin and Westmanstown were represented in the Junior Fours and both the Senior and Junior Triples.

Westmanstown’s team were successful winning the Junior trophy. Sheila Harte, Mary Brophy, Caroline Blake pictured below, overcame a stiff challenge from Skerries to win the match.

Mary Cummins Anne Reid and Margaret Doyle were runners up in the senior competition going down to a very strong Dun Laoghaire team.

In the Junior Fours Emily Slevin, Caroline Blake, Sheila Harte and Mary Brophy were narrowly beaten in the semi final by Sportslink who went on to win the final.

Well done to all who represented Westmanstown with distinction including the many supporters who cheered our ladies on.

    Well done to all Westmanstown ladies teams , Junior and Senior, who entered the LBLI Championship this year . There were a lot of tough matches in each round . A special congratulations to the 2 teams for their gallant efforts in the Final .
