A Special Week for Westmanstown B.C.

We are delighted to report on a very successful week for the club.

On Sunday John Gleeson and his O’Dea Cup team travelled to Bray to take on Crumlin in the final of this competition. Westmanstown were worthy winners with a score of 70 points Crumlin’s 56 points. Congratulations to those who played on the day and those who played in the previous rounds.

Then on Wednesday afternoon the Division 1 team played their final league match of the 2025 season. Gerard Macken knew his team needed 3 points in the final game to top the table and retain the ILBI Perpetual Trophy.

In the end Westmanstown won in style collecting all 7 points against Dunlaoghaire. It was a long season and well done to all the players on the panel who contributed to bringing the league title back to Westmanstown for the second year in a row..
